Future Work Design is an organizational design and strategy firm founded by four women with the same starry-eyed dream: transform the world of work for others as well as for ourselves.
Our business model is designed around two goals
To create a structure that is built on equitable, transparent pay, centered around the people doing the work
We achieved this by stripping away all the overhead, fees, and owner profit that we experienced at other consultancies.
We are deeply passionate about this work and love our clients!

Future Work Design Is:
Experienced – All partners have 15+ years of multidisciplinary cross-industry experience
Committed to creating growth opportunities for emerging diverse talent

Kate is a white woman who hails from the middle Midwest. At work, Kate is an administrative-minded researcher, designer and strategist with a passion for collaborative process. At the heart of her cross-disciplinary practice is the belief that to make good work go further, we can and should align operations with values. She is excited by opportunities to build capacity for equity, efficacy, and efficiency in teams of all shapes and sizes. During her cross-sector career, she has designed and implemented creative solutions for people working across sectors. Her favorite part of working toward organizational goals is unearthing and leveraging feedback—from the experiential to the empirical—as a core driver of innovation and progress. Kate uses sense-making and systems thinking to help reorient the ways we work in favor of better environments, experiences, and outcomes for individuals and teams.
